SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2022 Age Limit
18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in the normal course. Due to the Covid Pandemic Government has given 3 years of age relaxation. However, after a relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.

SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2022 Educational Qualifications
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination as on 01-01-2023 from a recognized Board/ University.
How to apply for SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2022
Applications must be submitted in online mode at the official website of the Commission i.e. https://ssc.nic.in from 27-10-2022 to 30-11-2022 23:00 hrs.
In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the scanned color passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph should be without a cap, spectacles and a frontal view of the face should be visible.
After submission of the online application form, no change/ correction/ modification will be allowed under any circumstances.
SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2022 Application Fee
- Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only). The fee paid is Non-Refundable.
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards, or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Online fees can be paid by the candidates up to 01-12-2022 (23:00 hours). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through Challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to the date 01-12-2022 provided the Challan has been generated by them before 30-11-2022 (23:00 hours).

SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2022 Scheme of Examination
Computer Based Examination (CBE)
There will be an Objective Multiple Choice Examination consisting of 80 Questions with 160 Marks. This exam will be conducted in English, and Hindi. The questions in the Computer Based Examination will be of Matriculation level.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST):
Male and female candidates will be shortlisted State/ Area-wise and category-wise on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based Examination (including NCC bonus marks, if applicable) for appearing in the PET/ PST.
Based on the performance in Computer Based Examination CBE, candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centres finalized by the Central Armed Police Forces CAPF.
The candidates who are successful in the PET/ PST will be considered eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV).
Document verification (i.e. collection of required eligibility certificates/ documents from the candidates and their verification with original documents) will be conducted by the CAPFs along with the Detailed Medical Examination.
The candidates who are qualified in the PET/ PST and DV/ Medical Examination will be considered for inclusion in the final merit list.
SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2022 Procedure for Filling the Online Application
The process of filling online application for the examination consists of two parts:
- One Time Registration
- Filling out an online Application for the Examination.
Documents/Information Required before starting the online application process:
Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)
Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
Aadhaar Number. If an Aadhaar Number is not available, please give one of the following ID Numbers. (You will be required to show the original document at a later stage): Voter ID Card, PAN, Passport, Driving License, School/ College ID, Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private).
Information about the Board, Roll Number, and Year of Passing of the Matriculation (10th) Examination.
Disability Certificate Number, in case of a person with benchmark disability.

The Availability of Admission Certificates for the Computer Based Examination will be made available about 3-7 days before the examination on the website of the concerned Regional Office.
Similarly, the Availability of Admission Certificates for PET/ PST and Medical Examinations (DME/ RME) will be made available on the website of CRPF about 2 weeks before the test is concerned.
SSC Constable GD Candidate must bring a printout of the Admission Certificate to the Examination Hall.
In case of inability to check the Admit cards for PST/ PET and DME/ RME from the website of CRPF, candidates should contact the CRPF at least one week before PET/ PST or DME/ RME. In case of non-receipt of Admit Cards for PET/ PST and Medical Examination, candidates may contact at CRPF Recruitment Helpline Number 011-26160255.
In addition to the Admission Certificate, it is mandatory to carry two passport size recent color photographs, original valid Photo-ID proof having the date of birth printed on the Admission Certificate, such as:
