The Government of Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board has given SLPRB Notification for 411 SI and 6110 Police Constable Vacancies. State Level Police Recruitment Board of Andhra Pradesh SLPRB AP has issued two separate notifications for the Recruitment of Sub Inspectors, and Police Constables.

SLPRB AP Recruitment Notification Eligibility Conditions

A. Eligibility

For the Post of Constables Post Codes 21 & 23

  1. For the post mentioned against Post Code No. 21, Men & Women are eligible.
  2. For the post mentioned against Post Code No. 23, only Men are eligible.

For the Post of SI Post Code 11 & 13

  1. For the post mentioned against Post Code No. 11, Men & Women are eligible
  2. For the post mentioned against Post Code No. 13, only Men are eligible.

B. Age Limit

For the Post Code No. 21 & 23

  1. For working Home Guards in the Government of Andhra Pradesh Police Department, one must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st July 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd
    |uly, 1990 and not later than 1st July 2004.
  2. All other Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 24 years as of 1st July 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July 1998 and not later than 1st July 2004.

For the Post Code No. 11 & 13

Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as of 1st July 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July 1995 and not later than 1st July 2001.

For Both the Police Constables, and SI Vacancies Age Relaxation is applicable as per the Government Rules. Candidates have to check the detailed notification for relaxation.   

C. Educational Qualification

For Post Codes No. 21 and 23

The candidate must have passed, as on 1st July 2022, the Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government. For SC/ST Candidates as on 1st July 2022, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations of 1st Year and 2nd Year.

For the Post Codes No. 11 and 13

The candidate must possess, as on 1st July 2022, a Degree awarded by any University in India, or any other equivalent qualification. For SC/ST Candidates as on 1st July 2022, he/ she must have passed the Intermediate examination conducted by the competent authority or its equivalent recognized by the state government and should have studied a degree in any one of the universities in India.

D. Medical Standards

a. Eye Sight: Visual Standards required for the above selection shall be as follows:

c. Candidates who have the following ailments or defects will not be considered for recruitment to any post specified in this rule:
i) Physically handicapped.
ii) Knocking knees, pigeon chest flat feet, Varicose veins, Hammer toes, fractured limbs, decayed teeth, stammering, hard
of hearing, and abnormal psychological behavior.

SLPRB AP Recruitment Fee

For Post Codes No. 21 and 23

a. Andhra Pradesh Local Candidates:

OCs, BCs, EWS Candidates – Rs. 300/- towards the processing of application PMT/ PET, Written Examinations etc.

SCs and STs: Rs. 150/-

b. Andhra Pradesh Non Local Candidates: Rs. 300/-.

For the Post Codes No. 11 and 13

OCs, BCs, EWS Candidates – Rs. 600/- towards the processing of application PMT/ PET, Written Examinations etc.

SCs and STs: Rs. 300/-

EWS Candidats : Rs.500/-

Mode of Payment of Fee

Step 1: Visit the official SLPRB AP Website: https://slprb.ap.gov.in/.

Pay the prescribed Registration Fee, by providing his / her details such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Community, and SSC Hall Ticket Number or its equivalent, through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or any other mode made available on the SLPRB Website.

Step 2: After making the Payment, the Candidate has to visit the Website: https://slprb.ap.gov.in/. Submit the STAGE I Online Application Form. After making the payment of the fee, if the candidate fails to press “submit” in STAGE I Online Application Form, such cases shall be rejected without giving any notice, and the fee once paid shall not be refunded in any case.

Step 3: Candidates who are declared qualified in Preliminary Written Test have to again visit the Website: https://slprb.ap.gov.in/ for uploading the STAGE II Application along with the scanned copies of the original Certificates / Documents before participating in the PMT/PET.

Those who intend to apply for both categories of posts (Post Code Nos 21& 23), or (Post Code 11&13) need to submit only one application form.

Minimum Marks for Qualifying in Preliminary Written Test in ALL the papers: OCs, EWSs-40%, BCs-35%, SCs/STs/Ex-Service Men-30%.If a candidate fails to score qualifying marks even in one paper, he /she will be disqualified.  For SI, PC candidates, the Total marks for these two papers will not be counted for the purpose of qualification.

Intimation Letter

The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test will be informed about the dates for checking the intimation letter through the website.

Candidate has to check, save and print the Intimation Letter for appearing in the PHYSICAL MEASUREMENTS TEST (PMT)/ PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET) with details of Venue, Date, and Time. Candidates should bring the Intimation Letter while coming for attending the PMT/ PET.

B. PHYSICAL MEASUREMENTS TEST (PMT)

The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test have to undergo Physical Measurements Test and should meet the following requirements:

Certain relaxation has been given to Scheduled Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes, belonging to the Agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts. Candidates have to check the official notification.

SLPRB AP Recruitment Selected Candidates Stipend and Allowance

The Stipend as per Government Rules will be given during training.  After successful completion of training, Scale of Pay is Rs.25,220 – 80,910 / –

The Stipend as per Government Rules will be given during training.  After successful completion of training, Scale of Pay is Rs 44,570 – 1,27480/-
