The largest Public Sector Bank of India, The State Bank of India has issued the notification for the Recruitment of Junior Associates. The recruitment is issued for the selection of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre in State Bank of India. The SBI Recruitment of Junior Associates 2022 vacancies have been given state wise / circle wise. There are regular vacancies and backlog vacancies as well.
Candidates have to apply only for one State/UT. Candidates have only one chance to appear for the test under this recruitment project. The candidates applying for vacancies for a particular State/UT should be proficient in the specified local language. The candidate should be able to write, read, speak, and understand the specified State/UT language.
As part of the SBI Recruitment of Junior Associates 2022 selection process proficiency test will be conducted to test the knowledge of the candidates in the opted local language. This test will be conducted for those candidates who qualified in the online main examination before joining the bank. If the candidate fails to qualify for this language exam he will not be offered the appointment. Alternately candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate, stating that the candidate has studied this language, will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates recruited under this advertisement will not have any Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer.

Eligibility Criteria
a. Age Limit: (As on 01.08.2022) Candidates should be Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.08.2022, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive).

b. Essential Academic Qualifications: (As on 30.11.2022): Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.11.2022. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.11.2022.
SBI Recruitment of Junior Associates 2022 Selection Procedure
The selection process will consist of online test (Preliminary & Main exam) and a test of specified opted local language.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

In the above objective tests, there will be negative marks for wrong answers.
For each wrong answer, 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted. There is no minimum qualifying mark prescribed for individual tests OR for the aggregate score. Section wise marks will not be maintained. An adequate number of candidates will be shortlisted in each category as decided by the Bank. Candidates will be selected for the Mains, approximately 10 times the number of vacancies.
Phase – II: Main Examination: The structure of the Online Main Exam would be as follows:

In the above objective tests, there will be negative marks for wrong answers.
Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Bank will decide the Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate. For individual subjects, there is no minimum qualifying mark. Marks will not be maintained in Section wise. State wise, category wise Merit list will be prepared. Candidates qualified in the test (main examination) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories.
Provisional Selection (Subject to qualifying specified opted local language). The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be
added to the selection and only the aggregate marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be considered for the preparation of the final merit
list. Provisional selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the test (Main Examination).

i. Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application.
ii. Qualifying in a test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above.

SBI Recruitment of Junior Associates 2022 Pay Scale
Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)
Probation
There will be probation for the newly appointed Junior Associates for a Minimum period of 6 months.
