Border Security Force popularly known as BSF has given the recruitment notification for filling the 1312 posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) through Direct Recruitment. This BSF Recruitment 2022 notification is through Advertisement Number Head_Constable/2022.
With a view to having a specialized centrally controlled Border Security Force, the Government of India set up the Border Security Force on 01st December 1965. Shri K F Rustamji, IP was the first chief and founding father. At the initial set up, BSF was raised with 25 Bns. BSF has grown strength to strength now holding 192 (including 03 NDRF) Bns and 07 BSF Arty Regiments guarding International Border with Pakistan and Bangladesh. BSF services have been utilized in anti-infiltration as well as controlling Naxal operations in various states of India. BSF is serving the country during various natural disasters/calamities.
New Vacancy 1312 Head Constable Posts
Directorate General Border Security Force Recruitment Section has given the notification for the Direct Recruitment For The Post Of Head Constable (Radio Operator) And Head Constable (Radio Mechanic). BSF Recruitment is through Online Application Only. These posts are NonGazetted & Non-Ministerial posts in Group ‘C’ on a temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force. These posts have all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidates shall be governed by the BSF Act and Rules. Applications from eligible candidates will be accepted through ONLlNE MODE only. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.

Examination Fee
Each male aspirant belonging to General (UR)/EWS and OBC categories for the post of HC(RO) & HC(RM) will have to pay examination fee of RS.100/- only for each Post through SBI Online Payment Gateway by using following modes: –
• Internet Banking (INB)
• Credit/Debit cards.
• UPI
• Wallet
No Examination fee is required to be paid by the candidates belonging to exempted categories/female candidates (i.e candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF Candidates, Ex-Servicemen and Compassionate Appointment). However, f 40/· plus taxes =Rs.47.2/- will be charged from every candidate as “Service Charge” by the CSC (Common Service Centre).

B | SECOND PHASE | The physical Efficiency Test (PET) is a qualifying test. A candidate must qualify in all the above PET events serially as mentioned. Candidates who qualify in the race will be allowed to appear for the long jump and so on. A candidate who fails, in any event, will be rejected at that stage only and will not be allowed to appear in the remaining events. The candidate who qualifies for the Physical Efficiency Test (s), Documentation and so on will only be allowed to appear in the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) as per merit. | |
