Defence Research and Development Organization is popularly known as DRDO. With a mission to achieve self-reliance in critical defence technologies and systems and a vision to empower India with cutting-edge defence technologies, DRDO is the Ministry of Defence’s research and development arm. It also provides our armed forces with cutting-edge weaponry and equipment in accordance with the demands set forth by the three Services.
The Agni and Prithvi series of missiles, Tejas light combat aircraft, Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launcher, Akash air defence system, a wide range of radars and electronic warfare systems, etc. are just a few examples of the strategic systems and platforms that the DRDO has successfully developed and produced on its own, boosting India’s military might and giving it crucial leverage.
The Technical Development Establishments (TDEs) of the Indian Army, the Directorate of Technical Development & Production (DTDP), and the Defence Science Organization (DSO) were combined to become DRDO in 1958. At the time, DRDO was a modest organisation with 10 locations or laboratories. It has expanded in a number of ways over the years, including in terms of the range of subject fields, the number of laboratories, accomplishments, and stature.
At present, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is a network of more than 50 laboratories that are actively working to develop defence technologies in a variety of fields, including aeronautics, armaments, electronics, combat vehicles, engineering systems, instrumentation, missiles, advanced computing and simulation, unique materials, naval systems, life sciences, training, information systems, and agriculture.
The development of missiles, weaponry, light combat aircraft, radars, electronic warfare systems, etc. is the subject of numerous large-scale projects, and significant progress has already been made in a number of these technologies.
DRDO CEPTAM
A Director serves as its Administrative Head and an Independent Chairman chairs the DRDO’s Center for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM). In order to serve the DRTC Cadre (Technical Staff) of DRDO, it was first created as Personnel Assessment Centre (PEACE) in November 1995. In accordance with the DRDO’s training policy, CEPTAM is in charge of facilitating training for the development of this cadre as well as recruiting for the technical, administrative, and allied categories of non-Gazetted professionals as well as evaluating DRTC officers and staff.

How to Apply to DRDO CEPTAM 10
A) All candidates must apply online through the link DRDO Recruitment [CEPTAM Notice Board] available on the DRDO website https://www.drdo.gov.in.

B) The online application portal will be opened on 03rd Sep 2022 (1000 Hrs) and closed on 23rd Sep 2022 (1700 Hrs)
C) Candidates are advised to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of network congestion or failure to login to the website on account of heavy rush/load on the website during the closing hours/days.
D) Firstly, the candidate must register online by filling up the basic details. After successful registration, the candidate will get a user Id & password on the registered email (note it down & keep it safely), which will be used to log in for filling of the application.
E) The candidate must fill in their name, date of birth, father’s name & mother’s name as given in matriculation/secondary certificates.
F) Candidates should have their own mobile number and valid & active personal email id. CEPTAM will not entertain any request for a change of mobile number & email address at any stage.
G) The following documents and their scanned copies must be kept ready before filling online application:
(i) EQR certificates: (1.1) For the post of STA-B: EQR certificates e.g. B.Sc., Diploma etc. (as applicable).
(1.2) For the post of Tech-A: EQR certificates e.g. Certificate from ITI (NCVT/SCVT)/National Trade Certificate/National Apprenticeship Certificate
in the required discipline (as applicable).
(ii) Xth class or equivalent certificate for age proof.
(iii) Photograph (Use only recent colour photographs taken within the last 30 days. Keep sufficient copies of the same photograph for future use.
(iv) Signature on plain white paper.
(v) Identity proof (ID) (e.g. Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, PAN, Driving License, School/College Id card, any other photo bearing Id card issued by the Central or State Govt.) which must be carried in original during the examination & document verification.
H) Contact details such as e-mail, mobile number, correspondence & permanent address etc. must be correct & active during the recruitment cycle as all communication will be done through them.
I) Candidates are required to submit all the acquired qualifications as of the crucial date of eligibility during filling out an online application form.
Submission Of Application
Once the application for the DRDO CEPTAM 10 is submitted, a request for change/correction in the particulars given in the application form, shall not be entertained under any circumstances. Hence candidates are advised to fill the application form carefully. DRDO CEPTAM 10 Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application and keep it safe. No printed copy of the application is required to be sent to CEPTAM. However, candidates must produce a duly signed printed copy of the application at the time of document verification, if provisionally shortlisted.
DRDO CEPTAM 10 Application Fee, Mode Of Payment And Exemption From Payment Of Fee
A) Application Fee: Non-refundable/Nontransferable application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) is to be paid by the candidate.
B) Mode Of Payment: The fee is to be paid online through credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI. All applicable service charges i.e. bank charges shall be borne by candidates only.
C) Exemption From Payment Of Fee: All women and SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee, as per the extant Govt. of India rules.
D) Ex-servicemen, who have already secured employment on the civil side under the Central Government on a regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to Ex-servicemen for their re-employment, are NOT eligible for fee concession.
DRDO CEPTAM 10 Examination Cities For Tier-I (CBT)
Candidates are advised to choose any three different cities for the DRDO CEPTAM 10 from the given list in order of priority for the Tier-I examination. The option/preference once given by the candidate will be treated as final and irreversible. Request for change of examination city/centre/shift will not be entertained.
DRDO CEPTAM 10 Selection Process
STA-B:
The selection process will consist of Tier–I (Screening) and Tier-II (Final Selection).
A)Tier-I and Tier-II will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
B) The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement.
C) Tier-I and Tier-II will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only. D) Tier-I examination is for screening and Tier-II is for final selection.

TECH-A
The selection process will consist of Tier–I (CBT) and Tier-II (Trade Test)
A) The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement.
B) The Tier-I (CBT) will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.
C) Tier-I examination is for Provisional selection and Tier-II (Trade Test) is qualifying in nature.
D) Trade test will be of ITI level in the related trade, to test the practical skills of the candidates. The test may be of about one to two hours duration.
E) The mode of selection may change depending upon the organizational requirement/Govt. of India policy for both STA-B & Tech-A posts.

Exam Pattern DRDO CEPTAM 10
A) There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer
B) The syllabus of the examinations will be commensurate with the essential qualifications required for the post.
C) The medium for examination will be Hindi and English
DRDO CEPTAM 10 Date Of Examination And Admit Card
The date of the examination will be published on the website later. The date, time & venue of the examination of the DRDO CEPTAM 10 will be given on admit card. The admit cards will be available on our website https://www.drdo.gov.in for the check, save, and printing, tentatively 02 weeks prior to the examination. Admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates must print (preferably in color) the admit card and carry it for appearing in examinations. Valid original photo Id (as mentioned in the application form) is mandatory along with admit card to appear in the examination.
