The Food Corporation of India FCI was established under the Food Corporation Act 1964. The main objective of the Food Corporation of India is to fulfil the food policy objectives:
- Effective price support operations for safeguarding the interests of the farmers.
- Distribution of food grains throughout the country for the public distribution system.
- Maintaining a satisfactory level of operational and buffer stocks of foodgrains to ensure National Food Security
Since its inception, FCI has played a significant role in India’s success in transforming crisis management-oriented food security into a stable security system.

Zone-Wise Recruitment of Non-Executives 2022
Food Corporation of India (FCI), has given the recruitment notification for the Non-Executives recruitment 2022. The recruitment is zone based, the posts are in Depots, Offices spread all over the Country.

AG-III (General) | D | Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in the use of computers. |
AG-III (Accounts) | E | Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in the use of computers. |
AG-III (Technical | F | B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University. Or B.Sc. with any of the following subjects from a recognized University: Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science. Or B. Tech / BE in Food Science / Food Science and Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology from a recognized University / an institution approved by AICTE. AND Proficiency in the use of computers. |

AG-III (Hindi) | H | *Degree of a recognised University with Hindi as the main subject. Proficiency in English specifically for the purpose of the translation. Certificate/Diploma course in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa of at least one-year duration from a recognised University/Institution approved by Government. Given the fact that the major work of Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be a translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa, possession of Skill for Hindi Typing would also be required. To assess the same, Hindi Typing with a speed of 30 words per minute will be tested during the period of probation. Confirmation of probation shall be subject to the candidate qualifying for the prescribed Typing Test. * *Hindi should be the main subject every year of graduation. |
- i. A CANDIDATE CAN APPLY IN ANY ONE ZONE ONLY i.e. EITHER NORTH ZONE OR SOUTH ZONE OR EAST ZONE OR WEST ZONE OR NORTH EAST ZONE.
- ii. A CANDIDATE CAN APPLY ONLY FOR ANY ONE OF THE POST CODE A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H (WITHIN THE ZONE).
- iii. If a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of the Notice of examination, wherever applicable, an order/letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications, will be required to be produced by the candidates at the time of Document Verification and as and when required by FCI, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications. The decision of FCI shall be final and binding in this regard.
- iv. The mode of application is ONLINE only. The printed/ hard copies of the application form will not be entertained.
Selection Process
PATTERN OF ONLINE TEST: The online exam will be in 2 phases. Phase – I is common for all the candidates, irrespective of the post applied.
Phase – II online exam is subject-specific comprising of Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-III
Information about candidates shortlisted at various stages will be posted on the FCI website for which candidate may keep in touch through the website https://www.fci.gov.in.
Examination Centres
The State wise list of Examination Centres for Phase-I and Phase-II is given on the FCI website. Candidate can select any one of the examination centre in his selected zone.
Online Applicaiton Process
Candidates to go to the IBPS website and go to the Option CHECK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION which will open a new screen.
Examination Fee
Candidates applying for the post (ANYONE WITHIN THE ZONE) are required to submit an APPLICATION FEE of Rs. 500/- (Excluding bank charges but including G S T ) by using any Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets, UPI by providing information as asked on the screen.
