The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which is now known as the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI).
The NTA is set up under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is being conducted by NTA since 2019 for admission to undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
The NEET 2022 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 17 July 2022 (Sunday) at various examination centres spread throughout India.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST NEET (UG) 2022
NEET (UG) – 2022 was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, 17 July 2022 (Sunday). The exam was conducted in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages.
This is a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India, as per Section 14 of The National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and relevant Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 1997, as amended from time to time.
This examination was conducted in various languages such as English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

On August 31, 2022, The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the Answer Key, Scanned Image of OMR Answer Sheet and Recorded Response Challenge. This was kept on the official website of the NTA.
