JEE Main Exam 2023
The National Testing Agency NTA has issued the notification for the JEE Main Exam 2023. The JEE Main Exam January Session will be conducted on 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 January 2023. JEE Main Exam will be conducted in 13 languages at various examination centers throughout India.
JEE Main Exam 2023 Important Dates
JEE will be conducted two times for the Academic Session 2023-24, in two sessions. Session I (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023).
Now NTA has issued the Notification for Session 1. The details for Session 1 (January 2023) are given below:

JEE Main Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria | There is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination. |

JEE Main Exam 2023 Registration
Candidates have to apply to JEE Main Exam 2023 through online mode only. The candidate has to apply through the official website. Candidate has to have email ID and Mobile number before starting the online application. The given email ID and Mobile number should be available until the completion of Admission. NTA will send all the information/communication to the registered email ID and Mobile number.

JEE Main Exam 2023 Pattern
a) Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
b) Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
c) Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode only.
JEE Main Exam 2023 Medium of the Question Papers
The JEE Main Exam 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

- For Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2, each Subject will have two sections.
- Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.
- In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10.
- There will be negative markings for both Section A and Section B.

How to Prepare for JEE Main Exam 2023
- Understand the exam format: Familiarize yourself with the structure and content of the JEE Main exam, including the types of questions that are asked, the number of sections and questions, and the time allowed for each section.
- Develop a study plan: Give sufficient time to each topic as per their weightage in the exam. Practice the number of sample questions, as much as you can while strictly following exact time limits.
- Review the syllabus: Make sure you understand the topics that will be covered on the JEE Main exam and focus your studies on these areas.
- Practice previous year’s question papers: Solving previous year’s question papers can help you get a feel for the types of questions that are asked on the exam and improve your time management skills.
- Seek guidance from a tutor or mentor: Consider seeking guidance from a tutor or mentor who can help you clarify any concepts that you are struggling with and provide additional practice and support.
- Take care of your physical and mental health: It’s important to take care of your physical and mental health while preparing for the JEE Main exam. Eat healthy food, do have some physical activity, have good sleep. These will help to reduce your stress levels.
