The National Health Authority (NHA) is the apex body entrusted with the authority to implement India’s flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called “Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana”.
National Health Authority is the successor of the National Health Agency, which was functioning as a registered society since 23rd May 2018.

You can create your ABHA number using your Aadhaar instantaneously. Please ensure that Aadhaar is attached to a Mobile Number as an OTP authentication will follow. If you do not have a Mobile Number attached, then visit the nearest ABDM participating facility and seek assistance.
If Aadhar and Aadhar attached mobile numbers are available, then Enter your Aadhar Number or Driving Licence Number, and submit Next.
Step 4:
Enter the OTP received on the mobile number. If everything is correct, then the message will be displayed on the screen
